August Bank Holiday waste collection changes

Your normal refuse, green waste and green box recycling collection days will change following the Bank Holiday on Monday 25 August.

The following changes apply to your normal rubbish, green waste and green box collection days:

Collections resume on their normal day from Monday 1 September. To find out when your usual waste collection day is use our collection day search facility.

To help our collectors cleanly and safely collect your rubbish please:

• wrap broken glass and other sharp objects in newspaper
• do not put liquids in rubbish bags or bins because they leak. Instead, please take them to one of our Recycling Centres or leave them by your rubbish and they will be collected separately
• ensure your rubbish and kerbside recycling box is available for collection from the designated point from 7.30am onwards on the revised day
• do not put your rubbish bags out early as animals may tear them open.
