We provide a network of local recycling banks
within North Somerset.
You can use these sites to recycle glass, paper and cans and we
plan to increase this range as part of our recycling programme in
due course.
At some sites you can recycle
plastic,
food
and drinks cartons, clothing and shoes. Clothing and shoes
banks are provided by charities such as the
Salvation Army and
SCOPE.
The banks are situated at accessible public places right across
the district. To find your nearest one use the
bank
locator facility on the recycle-more website.
In order to keep these clean and tidy please ensure you take
home any bags or boxes after you have used the banks as these
materials cannot be recycled at these sites.
Please only deposit materials that can be recycled at these
sites.
Any other waste items which you leave behind will be considered
as fly-tipped
waste and you will be subject fines and prosecution.
We empty the banks on a regular basis but if you spot one which
is overflowing contact us on Freephone 0800 601 601 to let us
know.
As part of our service we also consider all requests for new
sites. |
