The zero waste challenge week runs from Monday 29 September to
Sunday 5 October. During this week we are challenging you not to
throw anything away. For more information

Your new yellow
pages directory for 2008 - 2009 will be delivered soon, please
recycle you old directroy in your
green
box, at the
recycling bank or recycling
centres.
You can also recycle
cartons such as Tetra Pak and Pure Pak in North Somerset.
Every year we are recycling more and more of our waste in North
Somerset.
This year our recycling
rate is 36%, compared with 31% in 2006 and 20.5% in
2005.
By recycling more and throwing
away less you can help to protect our environment and reduce costs
as disposing of rubbish is an expensive business.
