Our purpose-built Recycling Centre in Backwell is
one of three in North Somerset.
As well as being able to
recycle a wide variety of your usual household waste at the
centres you can now
recycle plastic as well.
Opening times:
The centre is open from 8am until 4.30pm Monday to Saturdays and
9am until 4pm on Sundays until 1st March 2009. However, the centre
will be closed on Bank Holidays.

For directions to the Backwell recycling centre from the A370, turn
into Dark Lane at the Backwell traffic lights to the new
mini-roundabout at the junction of Dark Lane and Church Town. The
entrance to the new site is clearly signposted from here.
Traffic coming from the A38 should head down Brockley Combe, turn
right onto the A370 and pick up the signs from Backwell traffic
lights.
The new route and mini-roundabout aims to reduce queues at the site
and allow and divert traffic away from Church Town, the school and
the church.
