We offer a fortnightly green garden waste collection service to households across North Somerset.
However, during December, January and February collections take place on a monthly basis with fortnightly collections resuming in March.
You should check your collection calendar for dates but if you need another copy contact our Streets and Open Spaces service on 01934 888 802.
It takes place on the same day as your regular rubbish collection and allows you to recycle green garden waste and plain corrugated cardboard in the bags we provide.
You can put out as many bags as you wish as long as they are filled with the correct materials and left on the edge of your property nearest the roadside by 7.30am on your collection day.
You must separate your green garden waste from your general rubbish as we no longer collect this waste as part of our normal rubbish collection service.
Put your waste loosely and directly into your green garden waste bag removing as much soil as possible from any plants.
Please leave something to weigh your bag down, for example, a stone or your recycling box, to prevent your bag from blowing away.
An assisted collection service for elderly and disabled householders is available upon request from Streets and Open Spaces
