Medicines Bottles- unused contents
should be returned to the pharmacist. Please do not empty or flush
down the toilet as this causes pollution to the water.
Metal - Recycling metal help the environment enormously,
steel for example can be recycled time and time again without loss
of quality. Take metal to a scrap dealer or the
recycling
centre.
If your metal item is small enough take to the
recycling bank or put in your green box.
Milk Bottles - Glass bottles are normally returned to the
milk supplier.
Plastic milk bottles can be recycle if there are the correct
polymer type.
Mobile Phones - Return them to shops that sell them, or
give to other organisations and
charities for recycling. They can be taken to the
recycling

Monitors - Computer monitors and T.V screens contain
mercury and will require careful disposal. They can be donated to
various
organisations or charities alternatively take to the
recycling
centre.
Mortar - Clean and paint free lime mortar and sand which
has been previously used in old brick or stone work can be added to
acid soil as a soil improver. Alternatively you can take it to the
recycling
centre.
