We can collect furniture, white goods and other
large items from homes within North Somerset.
We charge for this service and only remove bulky items such as
beds, sofas, furniture, white goods and garden waste.
We will not take away fixtures, fittings or construction waste and
items for collection need to be placed outside your property.
We aim to collect within seven working days of payment for the
following charges:
- £28.50 - Removal of up to three items of furniture or domestic
appliance
- £57.00 - Removal of four to six items of furniture or domestic
appliance
- £83.50 - Removal of a lorry load of large items
- £83.50 - Removal of a lorry load of garden waste but we will
need to inspect the load before collection

Somerset
House, Weston-super-Mare, or by contacting
Streets and Open Spaces on 01934 888 802.
You can also dispose of certain bulky items free of charge at
one of our Recycling
Centres.
Alternatively, contact local charities to see if they will take
away any items. However, they may be selective in what they will
accept.
For example, upholstered furniture needs to have passed 1988
fire safety standards and should have a "carelessness causes fire"
label for it to be of use to a charity.
