School waste education support

As part of our waste education programme, our Waste Education Officer is developing a range of support resources to assist schools with their waste minimisation.

The resources currently available to download include:

• Key Stage One waste minimisation playing cards (pdf) (a game to play with younger students to identify different natural resources, the primary manufactured product each resource is used for and then the secondary recycled product made from this)

Free teacher and staff workshops

A range of free teacher, school staff, and student workshops will also be available throughout the year for personal development opportunities.

Details of each session will be emailed to all schools in North Somerset, posted on our website, and advertised on Noticeboard.
