Waste less. Win more!
The School Waste Minimisation Awards aim to encourage
excellence in learning about and taking action to minimise waste in
schools.
The Awards provide an opportunity for schools to be recognised for
exemplary efforts which support our initiatives to improve
recycling and reduce waste to landfill.
The Awards are open to all schools in North Somerset and each
school can enter one or both categories. One
winning school per category will receive £200 to put towards
an eco-project of their choice.
Each participating school receives a certificate of
recognition.
The Awards are about celebrating the work you and your students are
already doing, so there is no need for extra work!
There are four easy steps to getting involved:
1. Register your school for
the
competition by Thursday 28 April 2011
2. Download an entry form
3. Submit your entry form by Friday 6
May 2011
4. Be rewarded for your participation!
