A draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on
housing in defined villages was approved for development management
purposes in August 2010. This supersedes the earlier informal
Guidance Note approved in May 2009.
The document provides guidance on meeting the requirement of
Policy H/7(v) of the
North Somerset Replacement Local Plan (RLP) regulating housing
development in certain villages - those with settlement boundaries
- where it could otherwise add to out-commuting.
We consulted on the draft SPD in March-April 2010. The
