Supplementary planning helps provide greater detail and in-depth information about the policies and proposals contained within our Replacement Local Plan.
This support comes in the form or a range of supplementary planning documents (SPDs) which can all be found in this section. These currently include a Biodiversity and Trees SPD and the North Somerset Landscape Character Assessment. There is also supplementary planning guidance available on the Forest of Avon, affordable housing and Dolphin Square, Weston-super-Mare.
Although not an SPD, a Development Brief (pdf, Jul 10, 1MB) has been prepared for the Weston Tourist Information Centre, setting out plans for the redevelopment of the existing building as a key element of the Pier Square enhancements.
