We have prepared guidelines to say how we propose to
involve all sections of the community in preparing new planning
policies and making decisions on planning
applications.
The
Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) was
adopted on 1 February 2007 and sets out who we will be
consulting, when and how.
An
erratum (pdf, Mar 10, 53KB) has
been produced to explain how subsequent changes in the Planning
regulations have affected the Statement of Community
Involvement.
The SCI can be used as the basis for consultation on
planning applications and our
Local
Development Framework documents.
