We review employment developments every
year and produce a document called the Employment Land
Survey.
We use the survey to monitor activity on sites which have been
allocated for employment use in the Local Plan and any
other employment development larger than 500m2.
We also use this information to inform policies
and it is useful for developers and the public as it
shows the amount and location of new employment developments within
North Somerset - including extensions, conversions and
redevelopments.
The surveys include details of completions on sites smaller than
this threshold as an appendix and we have included full
details of all retail and leisure developments across the
district.
