information.
The latest available census data is from the
2001 census which was a count of all the people and households
in England and Wales and took place on 29 April 2001. Initial
results from the 2011 Census will be published by the Office for
National Statistics (ONS) in July 2012.
We provide statistical information for planning and funding
public services such as education, health and transport. The range

households, employment, health, qualifications, travel to
work, ethnicity and religion. Summaries have
