We are working to help protect and enhance the
environment for the benefit of all in North Somerset.
Our natural and built
environments are great assets and by conserving and enhancing
them we ensure they can be enjoyed by future generations.
Through energy
conservation initiatives we help schools and companies to
reduce carbon dioxide emissions and water usage.
We promote the use and development of new and sustainable
energy, so that homes, schools and businesses become more energy
efficient.
We are working to conserve the outstanding
natural environment
in North Somerset. We have a vast range of animal and plant
species and habitats which need to be protected.
We work with many other organisations on conservation
activities,
projects and initiatives. Many of these need
volunteers to help contribute to the conservation of the district’s
environment.
