operation across North Somerset.
There are several orders in place in specific areas with
signs up, where practicable, highlighting where they are in
force.

The penalty for committing an offence under these dog control
orders is a maximum £1000 fine with an opportunity to pay a fixed
penalty in place of prosecution.
Exemptions for registered blind people, deaf people and for
those with disabilities who make use of trained assistance dogs are
in place.
