is provided via Exor Management Services. The accreditation
process establishes suppliers’ financial stability and
reliability.

Appointing a
Consultant/Contractor
- Always obtain at least three quotations from
the Exor system. Remember you are after best value and
this is not always the lowest price.
- Depending on the value of the works, you may
wish to carry out a market research exercise to help you decide
which consultants/contractors to select for invitation to
tender - which may involve asking some of the following
questions; where have they worked before? are they happy for
you to see their previous work? what is their expertise in the
particular project you intend to carry out? can they supply
references from satisfied customers?
- Having selected a contractor, the scope of
the work for the agreed sum must be clearly specified in an
appropriate legal contract.
