International professional development

A range of opportunities exists for teachers to become involved in International Professional Development.
 
The Department for Education Teachernet website provides a comprehensive list and details of these programmes.

The national agencies that organise Teachers' International Professional Development (TIPD) offer programmes of study visits and other international opportunities. Teachers interested should visit their websites:

The TIPD scheme also provides local authorities with the opportunity to organise study visits for teachers to help with school improvement.
