We encourage staff in North Somerset schools to develop
their skills.
Each school in North Somerset has a
Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) leader who is responsible for the
professional development of staff in their school.
There are more
than 4,000 advanced
skills teachers in schools across England. We have 24
advanced skills teachers.
This number could increase if schools decide to recruit advanced
skills teachers from their own budgets.
A range of opportunities also exists for teachers to become
involved in
International Professional Development.
