We operate a Vacant Seats Payment Scheme where spare
seats on school transport are available for a termly fare to pupils
who would not otherwise be eligible for transport.
Families on some income-related benefits are also eligible to
travel free under this scheme. Pupils using the Vacant Seats
Payment Scheme will need to access an existing stop on the route of
the vehicle as routes cannot be extended or changed to accommodate
fare-paying passengers.
It also important to note that a seat cannot be guaranteed and
may be needed for entitled pupils. We will try to provide two weeks
notice should this occur.
