Transport to school is usually considered as part of the
process of identifying your child’s school placement, and free
transport may be provided.
You should contact the Special Educational Needs team to discuss
your child’s transport needs, and we will work closely with them to
ensure that these are met. This includes the provision of an
additional adult Passenger Assistant to meet the specific needs of
some pupils.
We may also be able to provide transport where your child has a
disability or medical condition which makes access to education
difficult, or where a parent who would normally accompany a child
is unable to do so due to their own ill-health or disability.
