Any child attending a North Somerset school whose
parents or carers are on certain benefits is entitled to
receive free meals at school.
Parents or carers in receipt of the following benefits can apply
for the service:
Entitlement usually begins from the date we receive your
application providing you are receiving one of the above benefits
on that date.
Your entitlement to free school meals is subject to a termly
review, and you will be notified if our checks confirm that you are
no longer entitled.
You must
inform the
School Admissions Team if any of the following circumstances
change, as these details may affect the outcome of the checks we
carry out:
- You or your children move to a different address
- Your benefits or support payments stop or change in any
way
- You change your name by deed poll

collect one from your child's school or
the Town
Hall in Weston-super-Mare, or the Castlewood office in
Clevedon.
