Parent governor representatives (PGRs) are elected to
represent the view of other parent governors within North
Somerset.
They are elected from serving governors to provide an apolitical
voice on our Children and Young People Policy and Scrutiny
Panel.
To be elected as a PGR you must be a serving school governor and
have a child attending a school somewhere in the district.
They have speaking rights on any issue under discussion by the
panel, which keeps an eye on decisions we make which will affect
children and young people.
They can also vote on issues relating to education.

Governor Services team.
