We manage allocations for first admissions, in year
changes and the transfer of pupils between schools.
This covers entrance to all community and voluntary controlled
schools and we also assist with admissions to Foundation and Trust
Schools and to many of the voluntary aided schools.
We aim to allocate places accurately and efficiently whilst
satisfying, where possible, parents' school preferences.
If you wish to apply for a 2009-10 school
place, please read one of the following guides which provide
helpful advice on the processes involved:
The closing date for the first round of allocations and for
online applications was 24 October 2008.
However you can still apply for places for consideration in
later rounds of allocations by downloading or requesting
a paper copy of the relevant parents guide
which contains the application form.
Parents of children due to start school from September 2010 will
be able to apply from the First of September 2009. Full details
will be published on this page at that time.
