We use information communication technology to raise
standards in educational establishments in North
Somerset.
We provide advice to all educational establishments through
the delivery and monitoring of the
CYPS ICT Strategic Plan 2010-2015. This
includes:
Theme 1: Support leadership and management within schools to
embed effective and safe use of ICT
Theme 2: Implement an effective e-communications infrastructure
between schools and the wider community, the Directorate and its
partners
Theme 3: Optimise investment in ICT ensuring best value and
sustainability
Theme 4: Increase the effectiveness of Management Information
Systems and services utilised by schools, the Directorate and its
partners.
We provide support in the use of ICT through a
service level agreement. This includes:
- e-learning
- e-safety
- project management
- procurement
- training
