We work in partnership with schools to improve teaching and
learning and their leadership and management.
We do this through our Primary School Improvement
Team.
This team provides challenge and support to ensure all our
schools are effective and all their children reach their
potential.
It does this by focusing on the following areas:
- Achievements of specific pupil groups - For example, gifted and
talented students and those with special educational needs
- English, mathematics and science
- Excellence and enjoyment
- Self-evaluation
