From time to time we offer training opportunities for
anyone involved in community development.
Recent courses have included community researcher training which
enabled local residents to carry out research into subjects they
consider important in North Somerset. We have also provided
courses to give people the practical skills they need to engage
effectively with their communities.
You can see the results of the community research and feedback
from the training.
The success of the studies has been recognised in
the position paper (page 4) on the
Big Society (pdf, Sep 10, 220KB) by the
Community Development Foundation.
