We offer funding to non-profit making
organisations across North Somerset to deliver services for the
benefit of North Somerset residents.
Applications from the voluntary and community sector are welcome
for services that contribute to the aims of the
Corporate
Plan:
- Promoting lifelong learning opportunities
- Enhancing health and well-being
- Protecting and improving the environment
- Building safer and stronger communities
- Increasing prosperity
- Improving the way we work
or the
Local Area Agreement priorities:
- Children and young people
- Economic development and environment
- Health and well-being
- Safer and stronger communities
The scheme is not intended for capital purchases and further
information on alternative funding sources is available from
Voluntary
Action North Somerset (VANS) or the
Quartet Community
Foundation.
Applicants must fulfil certain
criteria and provide evidence that financial support is needed.
The deadline for applications for the next funding period April
2009 to March 2010 was mid-November 2008.
