It is important that you report any concerns you have
about anti-social behaviour, as this information can enable local
agencies to take early action to stop bad behaviour from
escalating.
When reporting incidents of anti-social behaviour it is helpful
if you have specific details about what happened, such as:
- What happened?
- When did the incident occur?
- Where the incident happen?
- Who was involved?
If the behaviour is ongoing, it is also useful to keep a record
of the events in a diary. The diary should include details of the
incidents with times, dates and how the behaviour is making you
feel. This will help the officer dealing with your case to get a
better understanding of the issues you are facing, and enable them
to take appropriate action.
We will take what you say seriously and will treat you with
respect. We understand that it might be difficult or frustrating
for you to talk about what is happening.
Remember - we want to help!
