Anti-social behaviour

We work with other members of the Safer and Stronger North Somerset partnership to reduce anti-social behaviour in North Somerset.

The Safer and Stronger North Somerset partnership is part of the wider North Somerset Partnership and includes public and third sector organisations who work together to reduce crime and strengthen communities.

What is anti-social behaviour?

Anti-social behaviour is anything which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to one or more people not in the same household.

It is commonly continuous and longstanding, whereby victims are repeatedly subjected to abusive behaviour from individuals who typically are known to them.

Conduct of this nature is serious, even when individual events may not be noteworthy in isolation, as it can have a devastating effect upon victims, witnesses and communities.

Tackle it, don't tolerate it!

Let's refuse to accept anti-social behaviour in North Somerset.
