This project aims to increase young people's
access within North Somerset to information and support on a wide
variety of relevant issues.
It covers areas from sexual and mental health through to careers,
housing and many other youth-related issues.
The Youth Information Project is organised into four main projects
which include:
- The Resource Library - Contains a leaflet and loan section full
of resource, teaching and games packs for use by professionals
working with young people
- Campaigns - Organises district-wide campaigns based around
events such as Sexual Health, No Smoking, Mental Health and World
AIDS Day.
- Youth Information Points - Provide relevant and accurate
information for young people in youth clubs, schools, doctors'
surgeries, community centres and many other places
- Sexual Health Peer education project
