Youth workers provide a vital educational and social
role in the lives of thousands of young people across North
Somerset.
They endeavour to inspire and challenge young people to change
our world through a range of activities and events.
Being a young person today is both exciting and demanding and we
hope to support them through some of the tough choices they
face.
We offer them the opportunity to be involved in social
events, excursions, recreational activities, adventure
activities, sports and artistic and creative
opportunities.
We also help young people deal with some of the challenges
surrounding their age group and can give advice on
dealing with parents, relationships, drugs, alcohol and
contraception.
All of these activities and more are designed to help young
people make the most of their lives in a supportive, caring and
safe environment.
