The Youth Justice Plan looks at how to decrease
the amount of offending among young people in North
Somerset.
It reflects the objectives of the Youth Offending Partnership
and it individual partners and how they will meet their statutory
duty to prevent youth crime.
It reflects the aims of our Youth Offending Team which is
effectively the operation arm of the partnership and outlines
management, budgets, targets and workload details.
The plan has been developed in accordance with the requirements
of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998
which required us to tackle youth offending and to address the
needs of victims.
