In 2003 a review of partnership working in North
Somerset highlighted the need for a tool to enable partnerships to
assess their effectiveness.
An assessment toolkit was produced to enable them to measure
their progress and to help partnerships develop.
There are many benefits for partnerships to complete this
process, they include
- Identify areas of strength, and areas of improvement
- Showing the progress made by each partnership
- Identifying and strengthening the links to the North Somerset
Partnership (our Local Strategic Partnership)
The process also helps to:
- Prioritise support and resources
- Identify areas of work undertaken by each partnership and look
for any duplication or gaps
