A popular annual event will once again bring communities
in North Somerset together and showcase what’s on offer in the
district.
Your North Somerset returns on Sunday January 22 at the
Winter Gardens, in Weston-super-Mare, with a host of information,
advice, entertainment and opportunities to get involved.
The free event, which runs from midday to 4pm, hosted by us
and our partners, is now in its seventh year and looks set to be as
successful as ever.
A wide variety of organisations will be on hand to engage
visitors from all walks of life, offering advice and information on
a range of issues, from community safety and employment to health
and care services.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to find out more
about volunteering and how you can roll up your sleeves and give
something back to the community.
There will be lots of opportunities this year for visitors of
all ages to get involved and take part in a variety of workshops
and activities from drumming and arts and crafts to food tasting.
Entertainment will include a wide variety of music and dance from
diverse cultures.
