You must pay a fee for the ceremonies and services
our Registration Service provides.
Most of the fees you need to pay are listed on this page but our
Registration Service can confirm charges for any other
services.
To give
Notice of marriage or a civil partnership the fee is
£30 for each notice per person. You will need to
pay this when notice is given.
Civil marriage or
civil partnership ceremonies at the Register Office cost
£40. You can pay this on the day of the
ceremony.
For marriages or civil partnership ceremonies at
approved premises the attendance fees until 31 March 2009
are:
- £265 Monday to Friday
- £290 Saturday
- £330 Sunday
- £345 Bank Holidays
For Certificates of Marriage, Certificates of Civil Partnership
and Commemorative Certificates of Civil Partnership (requested at
or before the ceremony) the fee is £3.50
For
Naming and
Renewal of Vows ceremonies until 31st March 2009, the
attendance fees are:
- £114 Monday to Friday
- £140 Saturday
- £176 Sundays and Bank Holidays
Fees for Naming and Renewal of Vows ceremonies include a
non-refundable deposit of £25 payable at the time
of booking.
