Renewal of Vows Ceremonies

A Renewal of Vows Ceremony allows you to share with your family and friends your continued commitment to your vows of marriage.

Although marriage vows are lifelong promises, renewing them can strengthen and enhance your original commitment and remind you of the reasons you first made them.

Vows are often renewed to mark a significant anniversary or the ceremony may provide an opportunity to include guests who were unable to attend your original wedding, perhaps because your marriage took place abroad.

Renewal of Vows ceremonies can take place at the Register Office or other  approved premises on any day of the week and are conducted by a celebrant with wide experience of conducting marriage and other celebratory ceremonies. Charges are shown on our  Registration Service fees page.

Your ceremony can be enhanced with readings, music and your celebrant will be pleased to assist you in making the ceremony an individual and personal occasion to remember.

A commemorative certificate is presented at the ceremony to remind you of your special day.
