We enforce health and safety legislation across
businesses and their premises in North Somerset.
We do this through a process of regulatory inspections and by
responding to any complaints about Health and Safety issues.
These are usually brought to our attention by employees or
members of the public and we take action where necessary.
This can be carried out in a number of ways from informal advice
and letter up to prosecutions through the legal system.
