Businesses and employers within North Somerset
must report accidents which occur on their
premises.
Accidents should be reported to the Incident Contact
Centre (ICC) via the
Health and Safety Executive
(HSE).
This is required by law and includes any accidents involving the
public and employees.
Accidents have to be reported depending on the resulting injury,
but they are always worth investigating to identify safety hazards
and prevent a more serious occurrence.
A record must also be kept of any reportable injury, disease or
dangerous occurrence which occurs.
