We have a duty to ensure businesses manufacturing,
preparing, cooking and serving food to the public in North Somerset
do so safely.
We do this by ensuring food is prepared in a suitable
environment, those involved are trained in food hygiene and
procedures are in place to guarantee food safety.
We support these requirements by carrying out routine
inspections of more than 1600 local food businesses, and provide
food
hygiene training.
In addition our Food Safety
Team is available to help and give advice about
temperature
control, cleaning
and disinfection, pest control
and accidents.
