We are signed up to the Access to Work (AtW)
scheme which helps Disabled people overcome any employment barriers
they may face.
Under this
Jobcentre Plus scheme, Disabled people can get practical advice
and help for their particular job.
It also advises employers with grants available towards any
extra employment costs which result from a person's disability.
This could be for the cost of a support worker, accessible IT
equipment or travel costs to and from work.
For those starting a paid job a 100% grant of approved costs is
available reduced to up to 80% of approved costs over the first
£300 for those already in work.
Help is also available for those who become disabled or if their
circumstances change during the course of their employment.
